Weekly Crime Watch Reports

Make sure you ruin this guy's day - lock up and watch out!!!!!
1. Police Crime Reports, which include advice about crime prevention, are issued each week and posted on the village web site as well as the notice board at the village hall. These reports give details of criminal activity in this part of rural Hampshire and often make surprising reading.
2. The mobile police station is parked outside the village hall for an hour at 10am on the second Friday of each month and our local policemen encourage us to visit them.
The Monxton Neighbourhood Watch Group met recently and were delighted that PC Bill Williams, our local beat policeman, was able to join us for an informative discussion about security and crime prevention. It was a sociable and entertaining event, at which Bill Williams answered questions from the Group Members about local policing, discussed particular priorities and concerns and stressed the need to report anything suspicious to the police by calling 999. He explained how reluctance by some people to call 999 is hampering the fight against crime.
